Spring has sprung!
Let’s take a quick look at Spring Home Refresh tips

Despite our Canadian yoyo weather, the air is definitely warming up and the trees are getting green again.  With our yards beginning to take on more colour, it might also be time for our homes to get a little refresh too!

It could be as easy as new paint on the walls…

This year’s pantone colour of the year is Very Peri (Click here to go to pantone.com)a bold periwinkle purply blue that could be your perfect accent colour as we move into spring.  Paint colours for the home are continuing to trend towards the muted green tones that we saw become super popular last year with the inclusion of some calming light blues in the mix.  Whites of course are always a staple in the home and this year is no different, however we are starting to see more warm toned whites adding coziness and comfort.

While paint colours are a fairly easy way to update a space for a bit of a change, another easy way to refresh your home is simply by giving it a good Spring clean!  Now that the sunshine is around a bit longer and we are feeling more motivated to give our homes that deep clean it needs, consider tackling those tasks that we don’t think to do every day…

• Dust ceiling fans and light fixtures
• Wipe grime off of baseboard edges
• Swap your Spring clothing into your closet and go through winter wardrobe for donations
• Deep clean through small countertop appliances
• Wash household linens like throw blankets, mats, and couch covers
